The Warrior Unravels Our Economic Dilemma
You’ve heard the saying “No news is good news.” Unfortunately, most of us won’t get to experience the serenity that comes from this non-occurrence because our political and financial leaders continue to ignore sound economic principles. They live under the illusion that their economic debauchery will rescue the economy. Of course, the warrior attempts to see through illusion.
What can the aspiring warrior do to protect his or her loved ones from the economic destruction caused by our government—and the ensuing despondency that’s sure to follow.
The Hard Reality
We might as well face it. Government exists for only one purpose—to violate an individual’s life, liberty and property. It also seems to have a definite purpose of destroying economic systems—something it has done on a consistent basis.
Here’s something you must understand. Governments do not possess the means to create wealth and prosperity for it citizens. It is more likely that a mongoose can give birth to a human baby than a government can give birth to the good life for all. We need to relegate the “government creating prosperity myth” to the same place as the “Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and Tooth Fairy myths.”
Let’s see clearly through illusion. Do you really believe the government is somehow going save us? If you do, you probably believe arsonists dedicate their lives to putting out fires.
Let’s perform some illusion-busting. Governments do not create anything, except mayhem, murder and misery. They destroy everything they get their greedy hands on. Unless you’re a masochist who enjoys the sadistic games of the political and financial establishment and you receive a perverse pleasure from witnessing universal destruction, socialist and interventionist governments shouldn’t be your “cup of tea.”
Difficult Times
You can’t save your body, mind and spirit by avoiding the facts of reality. The warrior embraces the facts of ordinary and non-ordinary reality. Here’s the Way of the Libertarian Warrior.
An individual who realizes self-mastery knows he exists as a being who possesses power. It is possible to call him or her a warrior. In the classic book by Carlos Castaneda, “Journey to Ixtlan” don Juan says this about the warrior. “A warrior calculates everything. That’s control. But once his calculations are over he acts. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions.”
You certainly don’t want to be victimized when the economy nosedives into the abyss of a mind-numbing economic recession or depression. Government meddling with the economy along with phony Federal Reserve money has already reaped dire consequences. In the next 10 years or more, the rest of the tragic consequences unfold before our despairing eyes, unless of course, you look at the world through eyes of enlightenment. If only politicians, altruists and world-improvers would let capitalism do its job—instead of sabotaging it.
Can you imagine forcing Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers to direct their teams to victory with their throwing arm in a sling, one leg in a cast and a patch over their dominant eye? They would be completely hampered in their ability to quarterback their team to victory. Well, that is exactly what the government has done to capitalism. Politicians, with help from the establishment press, cover up the results of their evil deeds by blaming capitalism for our economic woes. How much more dishonest and immoral can you get?
It’s quite possible that the difficult times of economic chaos and collapse are upon us. The locusts of wealth destruction swiftly descend on the field of economic progress and well-being. If were lucky the decline will be slow and syrupy. It’s impossible to tell.
Is There Any Hope?
You might be thinking I was correct when I said “No news is good news.” It certainly appears that way. Well, guess what? I have some good news for you. There is hope after all. It is not only possible to survive economic hardship—you can also thrive and accomplish many victories in the game of life. You do that by becoming a peaceful warrior and realizing the Zen State of Mind. A calm, cool demeanor and a feeling of oneness with ‘all there is’ allow you to take actions that lead to success.
